Through singing, listening, moving, instrument exploration, and other guided activities our Early Childhood Programs lay the groundwork for further musical study as well as a lifelong involvement in music and the arts.
Meet the Instruments
Come join the fun and learn about musical instruments with Ms. Kaitlyn! In this engaging 8-week program, students will be introduced to a variety of instruments and musical concepts through stories, songs, and movement activities. Stomp to the beat like a dinosaur as we explore the drum set, and reach high in the sky to catch the flute birds flying around the classroom! Join us this summer for a program full of musical fun you won’t soon forget!
Throughout the program, children will be introduced to at least one instrument from each of the four families: percussion (piano, drums), strings (violin, cello, guitar), woodwinds (flute), and brass (trumpet). The class also focuses on rhythm, music vocabulary, and essential musical concepts such as fast and slow, high and low, and loud and soft.
Enrollment is limited. Registration is accepted on first-come, first-served basis.

Sing Me a Story
Explore the magical worlds of your favorite stories and discover new ones with Ms. Kaitlyn! Together, we will travel around the world and beyond to learn musical concepts with various storybook characters. Who better to teach us about about fast and slow music than our good friends the Tortoise and the Hare? Come sing and play with us this Summer!
This “mommy & me” class is designed to encourage music-making and imaginative play through interactive storytelling. Each class will include a movement warm-up, sing-alongs, a new or classic children's story, and various music activities designed around the story of the day. Through singing, dancing, and instrument exploration, your child will learn new vocabulary, core musical concepts, and the social skills necessary to prepare them for school.

Meet the Piano
If your little musician is not quite ready for Piano for Beginners or Private Lessons but is eager for the next step, join us in Meet the Piano! This bridge program is designed to introduce all the essential concepts necessary to play the piano, ensuring a smooth transition and expediting the learning process for future group classes or private lessons. Meet the Piano lays a strong foundation for a successful musical journey.
Through age-appropriate instruction and interactive musical activities, students explore the general concepts of piano/keyboard playing. Students will learn how to identify the names of the piano keys, basic note values, piano finger numbers, dynamic and tempo markings and more!
This class is recommended for 4 year old students before registering for Piano for Beginners
